About Kaya
Kaya is run by Nadia Hajat. It is an information website while a future adult ADHD assessment service is developed. Kaya is not a company or a business at this stage.
Information, not medical advice
Everything on Kaya is general information. It is not a diagnosis, clinical advice or a recommendation about your own care, and it does not replace speaking to a qualified health professional.
Kaya does not offer assessment, diagnosis, treatment or prescribing, and you cannot book anything through the site.
Do not delay or ignore professional advice because of something you read here.
If you need help now
Call NHS 111 for urgent medical help. In an emergency, call 999 or go to A&E. You can talk to Samaritans at any time on 116 123.
Accuracy
We base the information on published sources such as NICE guidance and name them on each page, with the date the page was last reviewed. Guidance, NHS pathways and provider practice change, so some information may be out of date by the time you read it. Please check important points with the provider or professional involved.
The checklist and worksheet
The provider checklist and cost worksheet are tools for your own use. What you enter stays in your browser and is not seen by us. The worksheet does arithmetic on the figures you enter; it is not a quote or financial advice.
Links to other websites
Kaya links to other sites, such as NICE, the NHS and professional registers. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Using Kaya's content
The words, guides, audio and design on Kaya belong to Nadia Hajat unless a page says otherwise. You are welcome to print or share pages for your own use or to help someone you support, as long as you do not charge for them and you credit Kaya. Please ask before using the content in any other way.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep Kaya accurate and available, but we cannot promise that it will always be complete, current or free of errors, or that it will always be available.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that results from relying on information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
